GreenStone also invests in a variety of projects and programs such as the cooperative’s Young, Beginning and Small Farmer (YBS) program. With a strong focus on the importance of education, the YBS program encourages continuous learning and helps offset the cost of services by providing up to $40,000 through the Grow Forward Grant funding annually. This, paired with GreenStone’s ongoing promise to offer flexible financing options for young, small and beginning farmers, provides these individuals ample resources to be successful.
