Greetings from the Michigan FFA Foundation! As we kick off a new school year, I’m filled with gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead. With over 10,000 members now enrolled in Michigan FFA—the highest in decades—we’re entering a season of unprecedented opportunity for student leadership, growth and agricultural education.
This surge in membership reflects the vitality of our programs and the strength of our community. And thanks to the steadfast support of more than 30 returning corporate partners and 11 new ones, we closed our most recent fiscal year with a 48 percent increase in year-over-year revenue. That kind of growth isn’t just a number—it’s a testament to the shared belief that investing in young agricultural leaders is investing in Michigan’s future. Timing couldn’t be better with rising costs and the scramble to serve our growing membership.
Two years into our journey as a stand-alone 501(c)(3), the Michigan FFA Foundation is thriving. We’ve built a dynamic, responsive organization that’s able to meet student needs in real time while stewarding long-term resources. Whether it’s funding for State Convention, Regional Leadership Camps or national experiences like the Washington Leadership Conference, our donors are helping make it all possible.
As we approach the season of year-end generosity, I invite you to consider Michigan FFA in your giving plans. We’re equipped to help donors explore tax-advantageous options that leave a lasting legacy—supporting students today and shaping agriculture for generations to come.
Thank you for being part of this movement. Your belief in our mission fuels everything we do, and together, we’re building something extraordinary.
Warmly,
Alex Schnabelrauch
