State Leadership Conference for Chapter Officers

Conduct Guide:

1. You should be in your room by 11:30 p.m. and have lights and electronic devices turned off by midnight. This will insure your alertness for the next day’s activities.
2. Securely lock your room at night and when you are away from your room.
3. Keep your room neat and clean; this will help you eliminate time when you check out.
4. Enthusiastically participate in all sessions, events, and activities. Your presenters have put a lot of time into their presentations and will appreciate your attention.
5. Please arrive five minutes early to each session and meals.
6. Every conference participant must attend all sessions and activities, including the dance / recreational activity.
7. During all sessions, electronic communications devices should be turned off or set on vibrate.
8. You should report all illness, injury or problems to the conference staff so that the appropriate action can be taken.
9. Your conference days are long and filled with activity, so you are required to remain in your assigned room after curfew to rest up for the next day’s activites.
10. Respect your friends and fellow FFA members. Also, please respect all speakers and presenters…they are here for your benefit.
11. Unless accompanied by an advisor you are to refrain from going into the opposite sex’s room.
12. Official dress is required for the flag raising ceremony. Business casual will be appropriate for all other sessions, unless otherwise stated.
13. Please be courteous of all hotel guests.
14. Work hard…but remember to smile.
