Michigan FFA is part of a collaborative network of educators, universities, alumni and organizations that invest in developing the next generation of agricultural leaders. Together, these partnerships expand opportunities for students, strengthen agricultural education and help ensure a vibrant future for Michigan agriculture.
Michigan Department of Education
The Michigan Department of Education’s Office of Career and Technical Education (MDE-OCTE) provides leadership and support for Michigan’s Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources programs. MDE-OCTE helps ensure high-quality instruction, strong programs and meaningful opportunities for FFA members statewide.
Michigan State University
Michigan State University (MSU), the nation’s first land-grant university, provides academic pathways, research and outreach that strengthen agricultural education. MSU partners with Michigan FFA to support student leadership, career development and innovation across the state.
Department of Community Sustainability
The Department of Community Sustainability (CSUS) prepares the next generation of agriscience educators through teaching, research and outreach. As the home of the Michigan FFA Association, CSUS strengthens agricultural education while developing future teachers and leaders.
Michigan Association of Agriscience Educators
The Michigan Association of Agriscience Educators (MAAE) is the professional organization for Michigan’s Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources educators. MAAE provides professional development, advocacy and resources that strengthen agricultural education and support FFA advisors across the state.
Michigan FFA Foundation
The Michigan FFA Foundation builds partnerships with individuals, businesses and industry to secure resources that support FFA members, educators and statewide programming. Through scholarships, conferences and special initiatives, the Foundation expands opportunities for Michigan FFA students.
Michigan FFA Alumni and Friends
The Michigan FFA Alumni and Friends organization supports and promotes FFA and agricultural education through volunteer service, advocacy and financial support. Alumni serve as mentors, contest coaches and community partners who help chapters and students thrive.
Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development
The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) supports Michigan’s food and agriculture industry while promoting agricultural literacy and workforce development. MDARD partners with agricultural education to strengthen youth leadership and connect students with industry opportunities.
Michigan 4-H / MSU Extension
Michigan 4-H Youth Development, delivered through Michigan State University Extension, helps young people build leadership and life skills through hands-on learning in agriculture, STEM and community service. Together, Michigan 4-H and FFA expand opportunities and create pathways for youth interested in agriculture.
National FFA Organization
The National FFA Organization prepares students for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. As a state association, Michigan FFA connects members with national programs, competitive events, scholarships and leadership opportunities.
