More Than a "Club"

FFA is an intracurricular part of agricultural education, not an activity that stands apart from the classroom. Together with classroom and laboratory instruction and supervised agricultural experience, FFA helps students apply what they learn, develop leadership skills, and prepare for future careers.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Students ages 12–21 who are enrolled in a state-approved agricultural education course at a school with an active FFA chapter are eligible for membership.

As your school works toward establishing a state-approved agricultural education program, the Michigan FFA staff is here to provide guidance every step of the way. Once the program is in place, your school can charter an FFA chapter and begin offering leadership, career, and personal growth opportunities to students.
