Our Commitment
Michigan FFA is committed to providing safe, positive, and respectful experiences for all participants. Every member, educator, volunteer, stakeholder, and guest is expected to contribute to an environment free from harassment, bullying, intimidation, discrimination, and misconduct.
Non-Discrimination Policy

It shall be the policy of the Michigan Association of FFA that no person, on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, age, sex, or marital status, shall be discriminated against, excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or otherwise subjected to discrimination.

This policy of non-discrimination shall also apply to otherwise qualified individuals with disabilities.

Zero-Tolerance Policy

Michigan FFA has a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment, bullying, or intimidation. Michigan FFA will not tolerate these behaviors and will address each situation promptly and seriously, administering any disciplinary or corrective action necessary, up to and including banning participation in Michigan FFA-sponsored events, programs, and activities at the local, regional, state, or national level, regardless of whether such conduct violates the law.

Disciplinary Actions

Participants who engage in prohibited conduct may be subject to disciplinary or corrective action, including removal from current and/or suspension from future Michigan FFA activities, programs, or events; revocation of awards, recognition, or participation privileges; confiscation or forfeiture of prohibited items; and notification of, and coordination with, local school officials, employers, chapter advisors, affiliated entities, law enforcement, or other appropriate authorities, as necessary.

When the participant is under 18 years of age, the participant's parents or guardians will be notified.
