SERVE ON THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE
The Michigan FFA State Officer Nominating Committee offers members a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the organization while developing valuable leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. As a committee member, you will work collaboratively to evaluate candidates, uphold the integrity of the selection process, and help identify the next team of Michigan FFA State Officers.
WHAT DOES THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE DO?
Serving on the State Officer Nominating Committee is an opportunity to contribute to one of Michigan FFA's most important leadership processes. It is a chance to help choose the next State Officer Team while growing as a leader. Committee members review applications, participate in interviews, and work together to evaluate candidates fairly. Along the way, you'll strengthen your communication, listening, and decision-making skills while learning how to consider different perspectives and build consensus. The committee finishes its work by presenting the official State Officer slate to the delegates at the Michigan FFA State Convention.
ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?
The State Officer Nominating Committee includes three student voting members each year. Applicants should meet the minimum eligibility requirements established by Michigan FFA.
